Picture Study On The Brown Stair

Kylee has been working with this material for about a month now.  One thing I've noticed is that she likes to take out a material and then show everything she knows in one shot, spending a long period of time with work.  In this case, dusting the brown stair, ordering, finding a mistake, fixing a mistake, checking the ordering, and then ordering it two alternate ways.

Another thing I've noticed is that my older boys, who have not used these early sensorial materials for several years as a part of school, still have a deep relationship with them.  You will see in the pictures how eager Aidan was to come to Kylee's assistance when she wasn't quite tall enough!  Oh and then you'll see a crazy lady in nasty old sweatpants and unflattering purple sweatshirt helping with the last piece, who only reluctantly handed the camera over......

Nice photos! This is a material that gets much attention in my home preschool. In fact it is the only one I really need to replace because it is chipped so bad. Kylie takes really good care of her work. You should feel really proud, I don't know of any little girls who take care of the baby dolls this well. Thank you for sharing.
